About Us

A Few Words

About Us

The African student association Le Car e. V (cercle Africain de Reflexion e. V) was founded in Ilmenau in 2012 and is mainly supported by African students. The active members of the association meet once a month for a general meeting. There, past activities are evaluated and new activities are planned for the future. We also talk about studying or everyday life here in Germany.

What We Do

No two times are the same with us

When the members of the association meet once a month, there is always a lot going on. Here, over food and drink, not only the latest topics of the association are discussed, but also private topics that move the members. If you would like to get to know the association, you are welcome to come along. We look forward to seeing you. In addition to our meetings, we also organise smaller and larger events, which we plan as a team and carry out later. To give you a few examples: We have already been to the Street Food Festival in Ilmenau and organised a sports festival on the sports field. We are also regularly active at the ISWI. You are welcome to bring in your own ideas.

Our Members

Our Members love what they do, and that's what makes them so special.

Anyone wishing to join us is welcome. However, the office responsible for the management of the association is voted after 2 semesters. This gives everyone the opportunity to express their ideas for the constant improvement of the association.
